We couldn’t let the first anniversary of the late Ian Farrier’s passing go by without a moment of reflection and thanks, for the enigmatic designer who changed the face of trailerable multihull sailing over four decades ago.
It was a huge shock to all of the Farriers, and their extended family at (the then) Farrier Marine, when the news was received and we are reminded daily of his genius for design, and his legacy to the broader Farrier family, the sailing community who have enjoyed his work in concept and on the water in its many forms.
With the humble goal of carrying on with Ian’s work, while building the brand in a way he would be proud of, the merged teams now comprising Farrier International hope to continue to build on his reputation for brilliance in design, and quality for the next four decades and beyond.
Thank you for all the messages of support throughout the last year, and to our Farrier family of F-Boat sailors.
